Thumper Chatter Carver

The Thumper Chatter Carving is Michael’s take on a chatter tool. Part of the new Signature Series, these tools are a work of craftsmanship. Made of carbon steel, copper and sustainably sourced local hardwood. The sharpened spade allows for cutting into the clay to get a crisp texture. The Thumper's unique neck is specially tempered to provide optimal flexibility and allow the blade to bounce back. The Thumper comes in two sizes: Small is best for your average-sized cups and bowls, and Wide is best for throwing bigger.
